If you're worried that Santa might miss your home this year, whip up a batch of this Magic Reindeer Food to attract Santa and his reindeer. The longer the reindeer stay at your house, the more time Santa has to leave presents for you!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • One cup oatmeal, uncooked
  • One cup Cheerios
  • One tube glitter, colors of your choice
  • Glass jar or Ziploc bag
  • Bowl
  • Large spoon
  1. Step 1

Gather ingredients for your Magic Reindeer Food. Mix together oatmeal, Cheerios, and glitter in a bowl. Green and red glitter work really well at attracting reindeer, but any color will work. It's the sparkle that will catch their eyes as they fly over your home. Reindeer love oatmeal and Cheerios!

  2. Step 2

Stir all Magic Reindeer Food ingredients well. Don't worry that the glitter settles to the bottom, it will still sparkle and catch the attention of the reindeer. Pour or spoon into a glass jar or a large Ziploc bag. Shake every day until Christmas so the glitter can work it's magic on your Reindeer Food.

  3. Step 3

On Christmas Eve just before bedtime, sprinkle your Magic Reindeer Food on your lawn. The light of the moon or street lights will reflect off the glitter, and Santa's reindeer will not be able to resist stopping at your house. Don't forget to leave Santa a cookie and a glass of milk, he's got a long night and really likes to have a little snack along his way!
