How to Make Your Own Napkin Rings

1. Make napkin rings: Beaded napkin rings.
   
   To make unique beaded napkin rings, purchase a package of bracelet memory wire from your local craft store. (Be sure that its bracelet memory wire). This is heavy, sturdy wire that has a natural curve to it. This wire can be difficult to cut, so use sturdy wire nippers to cut off a piece of appropriate size. Make a small loop using needle nose pliers at one end of the memory wire. String your chosen beads onto the memory wire, leaving a small tail at the end. Use your need nose pliers to make another small loop to close off the wire. Voila! You have a funky and unique napkin ring for your next party.

2. Make napkin rings: Embellish a pre-made napkin ring.
   
   Purchase a plain, pre-made napkin ring in wood or plastic from a kitchen or craft store. You can now use a variety of creative techniques to decorate your pre-made rings. Apply a variety of stains to a wood napkin ring or paint funky, original designs using acrylic paint. Plastic napkin rings can be covered with embellishments ranging from rose petals to buttons to add to the theme of your dinner table.
