Many Mac users have an iPod for all their music-on-the-go needs, especially since Mac users don't have to worry about whether or not their iPod will be compatible with their Mac. If, however, you are a Mac user who has a Creative Labs Zen MP3 Player, then you might have difficulty getting the music from your Mac to your Zen. If you are facing this predicament and would like to know how you can finally transfer your music from your Mac computer onto your Creative Labs Zen Player, then follow the steps provided below.

  • Mac computer Creative Labs Zen Mp3 Player Internet access Music library XNJB Program

Transferring Music onto Creative Labs Zen Player From a Mac Computer

  • Go to the XNJB website (see resources below).

  • Click the "Download" link in the menu on the left hand side of the screen and wait for the page to load.

  • Click one of the download links on the page that loads and wait for the program to download to your Mac computer. Follow the directions to install XNJB on your computer.

  • Open the XNJB program and plug in your Creative Labs Zen player using the USB cable that came with it. If the player turns on, turn it off.

  • Click the "Connect" button at the bottom right hand corner and wait for your Zen player to connect to your computer.

  • Select "Music" from the menu bar toward the top of the XNJB screen.

  • Select the music from your music library that you would like to transfer to your player. To select more than one song at a time, hold the "Apple" key while clicking on the songs.

  • Click the "Up" arrow in the middle of the screen to transfer the songs onto your player. Wait for them to transfer.

  • Click the "Disconnect" button at the bottom right hand corner of the XNJB screen and then grab your Zen player. Wait for the Zen player to finish the transfer. When the screen either goes blank or goes into "Play" mode, turn it off and disconnect it from the USB cable.

Tips & Warnings

  • If the songs you transferred don't show up right away, try going into the music library on your Zen player. It should discover the new songs, and the song count on the "Play" screen should be closer to matching the actual number of songs on the player.
