Decide what homemade beauty product you'd like to make and then compile a list of friends and family you'll be gifting to. Next, make a list of ingredients you may need to purchase or order.
-
2
Determine whether your homemade beauty product is best stored in a plastic or glass container. Keep in mind that some essential oils or other natural products can stain a plastic container. You could even use a tin container to store homemade lip balm or homemade lip gloss.

Check with the clerk where you shop for some of your natural ingredients to see whether they offer suitable containers. Look in the Yellow Pages of the phone book under Beauty Supplies.
Do a search on the internet if you're unable to find a variety of containers locally for homemade beauty products. Choose from a generous selection of inexpensive glass or plastic and tin vessels, including glass droppers for essential oils from the various vendors' websites.
