With the Bissell PowerForce Bagless vacuum, you'll get lots of suction power at an affordable price. With more than 130 years in the floor sweeper industry, Bissell prides itself on being a global leader in the design and performance of its bagless vacuum line. Instead of emptying and replacing a vacuum bag, the PowerForce Bagless only needs a quick emptying of the dirt compartment, located in the center of the vacuum.
Look for the dirt container. It is the clear plastic section in the center of the vacuum's body. Note that there is a line on the outside that indicates when the container is full of dirt.
Unplug the vacuum from the power source before attempting to clean out the dirt container.
Slide the gray "Lock n Seal" lever from right (locked) to left (unlocked). This releases the catches for the dirt container.
Grasp the dirt container by the molded handles and pull it out firmly. Take care not to tip the container to either side as dirt and debris could spill out.
Empty the dirt container directly into the garbage container.
Replace the dirt container back in the body of the vacuum. Restore the "Lock n Seal" lever from left (unlocked) to right (locked). You can now continue to vacuum.
Tips & Warnings
- It's okay to wash the dirt container with warm water and a little dish soap. However, make sure to remove the filter cup from underneath the container.
