How to Fold Paper Flowers
Making paper flowers to decorate for parties or weddings is inexpensive and a fun project to do with friends. Be creative with the colors you use, the size you cut out and the folds you make. Each flower will be different just like the real thing.
Instructions

1
Lay about 4 to 8 pieces of tissue paper on top of each other. How many sheets you use will determine how full your flower will be.
-
2
Cut 6-inch by 6-inch squares through all the layers of tissue paper. You can cut bigger or smaller squares depending on how big or small you want your flowers.
-
-
3
Fold one edge of the square back approximately 1-inch and crease.
-
4
Turn sheets of tissue paper over and fold the same edge back 1-inch, crease.
-
5
Flip the sheets of tissue paper over again and fold the same edge back another inch, crease.
-
6
Continue flipping the sheets of tissue paper over and folding the same edge back 1-inch until you have folded all the paper into an accordion.
-
7
Fold this strip of paper in half.
-
8
Attach the pipe cleaner or florist wire to the folded strip of paper. About one inch from the folded edge of the paper twist the pipe cleaner or wire around the paper.
-
9
Trim the top of the paper into a scalloped edge or pointed spikes.
-
10
Spread open the top of the paper to create the flower. Continue pulling open until you have the look you desire.
