How to Draw a Gangster Monkey Step-by-Step

You don't need to be an artist to be able to make a funny drawing of a gangster monkey. Follow the steps below to draw an easy version of a gangster monkey.

Instructions

1. 

   Draw a slightly distorted pear shape for the head of the monkey.

2. 

   Draw two ovals vertically in the top of your distorted pear shape for the eyes of your monkey.

3. 

   Give your monkey hair by drawing a "V" at the very top center of your distorted pear shape, so that the tip of the "V" comes down to rest almost between the two ovals that you drew in the previous step for the eyes. Shade the "V" in and your monkey now has hair.

4. 

   Add little black dots at the bottom of your eye ovals so that your monkey can see.

5. 

   Add circles to either side of the upper part of your distorted pear so that your monkey now has ears.

6. 

   Add another "V" to your monkey's face, this time the "V" should be centered below the oval eyes, this "V" is for your monkey's nose.

7. 

   Draw a line that curves upward, starting below the tip of the nose and extending up toward the ear to add a grin to your monkey.

8. 

   Add a vertical oval that starts at the bottom center of your distorted pear and extends downward to form your monkey's body.

9. 

   Add a squiggly line that starts on the lower right side of your monkey's body and extends upward almost to the top of your monkey's head. This is your monkey's tale.

10. 

    Give your monkey a ground to sit on by drawing a straight line right underneath your monkey's body.

11. 

    Give your monkey feet by drawing curved lines that start at the bottom of each side of your monkey, arch up and then back down to the ground that you drew in the previous step.

12. 

    Draw simple lines for the arms and then draw a circle on the end of each of those lines for the hands. Now add tiny straight lines on the side of the circle that is opposite of your monkey's arms, these lines will be your monkey's fingers.

13. 

    Draw a chain with a large medallion around your monkey's neck, a baseball hat on your monkey's head, and a large stereo system sitting on the ground next to your monkey to make him gangster.
