Instructions

    • 1

Cut a piece of paper that measures 6 inches by 2 3/4 inches. Lay the paper face down on your work surface. Fold 1/8-inch of the paper to the back on both the top and bottom of the paper. Crease the fold.

    • 2

Fold the paper in half, completely hiding the plain side of the paper. Fold the paper in half one more time. Crease the folds.

    • 3

Bend 1/8-inch on the right side of the paper ring under. Crease the fold. Fold the same end of the paper over so that the top of the ring is folded into a perfect square.

    • 4

Place the paper so that the folded one square is right side up on the left hand side. Roll the paper around your hand or wrist to give the paper a curve. Lay the paper back down, then fold the right side of the paper up to form a 90 degree angle in the center.

    • 5

Verify that the paper is now laying like a backwards "L" on the table. Take the vertical piece of the paper and fold it down over the horizontal piece, creasing the fold where the vertical piece folds over the horizontal. Continue to wrap this piece around the until there is no more length left.

    • 6

Form the strip into a ring. Match up the two ends so that the portion folded into a square overlaps the portion where the end has been wrapped around. Tuck the folded portion of the top piece on the opposite side to form a ring.

    • 7

Slide the ring on your finger with the square piece on the top of your finger.
