Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gardenia flowers
  • Hair clips
  • Safety pin
  1. Step 1

Tuck a gardenia into the top of your bun when you wear your hair up. You may use a single flower or encircle the entire bun with flowers.

  2. Step 2

Pin a garland of gardenias to the bow on the back of your wedding dress. You may also choose to pin just one flower to the center of the bow.

  3. Step 3

Adorn your veil with randomly placed gardenias. Or you may wish to rim the bottom of the veil with a row of gardenias.

  4. Step 4

Pin a gardenia in your hair to hold your bangs back. Or you may want to wear a hair band covered in gardenias.

  5. Step 5

Make a bracelet of gardenias so every time you move your arm the beautiful scent of the flowers will waft about.

  6. Step 6

If you will wear netting over your face, pin a gardenia in it in the area above your ear to anchor the netting and add a decorative touch.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use freshly cut gardenias to ensure they do not wilt during the day.
  • You may wish to use gardenias in the hair of the flower girl too.
  • Make sure you enjoy the scent of gardenias before deciding to wear them at your wedding.
