Now and around the life of this century we face a new problem, and that is road rage. A person must drive for themselves and then the people around them.

Things You'll Need:

  • NO More Road Rage!
  1. Step 1

    Before getting behind the wheel of any vehicle, you should ensure that both your and your vehicle are prepared to make the trip safely. First, asses your own readiness by asking yourself the following.

    - Am I awake and alert?
    - Am I ready to give my full attention to driving or am I feeling distracted?
    - Do I know where all the vehicle's controls are located?
    - What problems am I likely to encounter along my planned route, and how can I aviod them.

  2. Step 2

    After assessing yourself, assess the condition of your vechicle, and how can I avoid them?
    - Are any headlights or tailights broken? Are all lights and turn singals working properly?
    - Does the gas tank contain enough gasoline to make the trip?
    - Do the tires have enough air? Are they feel of nails?
    - Are the brakes working properply?
    - Are all the brakes working properly?
    - Are all the mirrors adjusted so that I have the maximum field vision?

  3. Step 3

    Runnin through these mental checklist before driving will help ensure that you arrive at your destination safely. You should always take into the equation that the other drivers don't have your reaction time. So you must dive for you and for them.
