A sure and simple way to keep car headliner stuck to the car ceiling.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A paper stapler
  1. Step 1

Stretch your paper stapler open by rotating the top part away from the bottom part.

  2. Step 2

Plan to staple multiple staples in an attractive pattern: Geometric shapes with straight or curved lines or even a flower design etc.

  3. Step 3

    Staple up!
Fixing a car headliner is simple if you just use a paper stapler to staple the fabric to the cardboard. Spraying adhesive does not work because the foam that is sandwiched between the fabric and the cardboard ceiling is disintegrating because of age. This is why the fabric tends to separate from the ceiling in older cars.
If you cannot see the rear view mirror of the car that is driving ahead of you, the driver cannot see you either. Please let the driver know about this fix if you have a chance.
