Step 1
Start with the classic Western hopscotch. This is the easiest to draw and the most common of all hopscotch games, making it the perfect place to start. Make a long row of five 12-by-12 inch boxes, numbering them 1 through 5. Center two squares, side by side, above the fifth box, numbering them 6 and 7. Finish by drawing the eighth box centered above 6 and 7 and a dome shape left without a number above 8 for turning and resting during hopscotch.

Step 2
Play potsy, a form of hopscotch common to Brooklyn, New York. To draw a perfect potsy, start with squares 1 and 2 side by side and square 3 centered on top. Continue with squares 4 and 5 side by side, square 6 on top and finish with squares 7 and 8 side by side. In this form of hopscotch there is no dome, so players must hop and twist with both feet to land in squares 7 and 8.

Step 3
Draw the perfect Alaskan hopscotch by making your 12-by-12 inch squares but leaving them without numbers. Begin with 3 squares in a row, followed by two side by side. Finally, add another single square and top it off with two side by side. Finish your hopscotch by adding a side pocket, or an equally sized box just to the right of the first box, which serves as a starting platform for players.

Step 4
Create a game of La Thunkuna, the hopscotch game native to Bolivia by making your boxes rectangles and marking them with the days. Draw the first three rectangles, marking them Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and then draw a box and make an "X" from corner to corner. Starting with the triangle just above Wednesday and working clockwise, label the triangles Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Finish your hopscotch by making one more rectangle labeled "Heaven" and a dome resting areas labeled "The World."
