Get a small recurring role on a sitcom and get yourself fired from it.

Make as many appearances on talk shows as possible as the guest comedian. Become a regular favorite on these shows.

Co-create a sitcom based loosely on your life and star in it using your real name as the main character. Ensure that it is one of the most successful and well-loved sitcom in history.
Step7
Return to stand-up comedy after the successful sitcom has run its course.
Step8
Marry a younger partner in your 40s and have a family. Create a kid's movie about an insect and do some voice-over work.
