When a close friend or relative moves into a new home is a special occasion. Celebrate by sending her or him a housewarming card. With today's technology, you can send a free housewarming ecard. Choose from several Web sites and build an ecard the recipient will love.

Instructions

1. Search ecard Web sites for housewarming cards (see Resources).

2. Decide what type of ecard, such as funny or sentimental, you want to send.

3. Look at the different housewarming cards on the sites you find until you find one you like best.

4. Get the email address for the person you are sending the ecard to.

5. Fill in the information the ecard Web site requires to set up a card.

6. Select the colors, music and font if the options are available for you to choose from.

7. Write your personal message in the space provided.

8. Include your email address and choose a signature for the card.

9. Choose the date you want the card sent.

10. Check the box that asks if you want confirmation of the ecard being sent and received so you'll know the recipient saw it.
