1
Find a bluish gray or black unitard. If you cannot find a unitard, or if you don't feel manly enough in a unitard, buy some gray or black spandex leggings or sweatpants that fit tightly against your legs.
-
2
Take a piece of yellow construction paper and trace the Batman symbol directly in the middle of it with a black marker. Cut around the symbol until you are left with an oval shape. Tape or safety pin the oval to the middle of the chest piece of your unitard or sweatshirt.
-
3
Wear black or gray briefs over your leggings or unitard. You can use underwear or swim trunks.
-
4
Make your utility belt by cutting a long strip of yellow fabric. You can also use an everyday tool belt and paint it yellow with yellow fabric paint.
-
5
Use a ski mask for your hood. Cut out two black felt triangles and staple them to the top of the hat for Batman's ears. Tie a long piece of black fabric around your neck for a cape. If you don't want to tie something around your neck, pin it to the back of your shirt.
-
6
Slip on some utility boots and long black gloves. The gloves and boots should match whatever color you chose for your unitard or shirt and pants.

Tips & Warnings
Accessorize with some Batman gadgets. Cut out a boomerang and a grappling hook from some cardboard. Paint them yellow and draw the black Batman symbol on them and you've built your own Bat-gadgets.
