How to Crochet a Gold Bead
Crocheting a gold bead is easy using my free pattern!

Things You'll Need
- Small amount size 10 metallic gold crochet cotton
- Size 6 steel crochet hook
- Small amount fiberfill stuffing

Size: about 1/2" tall
Note: Weave in ends as work progresses.
Note: Do not join rounds. Mark last st in each rnd w st marker.
Rnd 1: Make ring (or ch 4, join w sl st in 1st ch to form ring. I prefer the "magic ring" method), ch 1, 6 sc in ring (6 sc). -

Rnd 2: * Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc, rep from *around (9 sc).

Rnd 3: Sc in next sc, *2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc, rep from *around (13 sc).

Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around (13 sc).

Rnd 5: Rep Rnd 4 (13 sc).

Rnd 6: Sc in next sc, *sc dec over next 2 sc, sc in next sc, rep from * around (9 sc).

Crocheted Gold Bead
Rnd 7: *Sc in next next sc, sc dec over next 2 sc, rep from *around, fasten off, leaving a 12" length of string for sewing (6 sc).

Stuff bead.

Weave 12" length of cotton around tops of Rnd 7 sts, pull tightly to close opening.

Roll bead slightly in hands until bead is perfectly round.

When stringing beads use the sharpest, finest needle you have to avoid distorting stuffing.
