      Open Microsoft Word. Start a new document by pressing "Ctrl + N" if one is not already open.

      At the top of the program, click "Insert" and then "Text Box". Choose "Horizontal" if given the option. You should see a text box on your screen.

      Re-size the text box to your desired size by clicking and dragging one of the 8 re-size buttons located around the perimeter of the box.

      Click on the middle of the text box and begin adding whatever text you want your stamp to contain. Typically, you would want to include information such as your name, job title, and address. Use fonts, font size, and color to provide emphasis where needed.
