How to Make Collages Online

When you make collages online, you do not need the traditional scissors, craft glue and paper you need when you make a paper collage. You can make collages online by visiting an online collage website. Or you can use your own photos and digital images. When you are done making your collages online, you can share them online or you can print them. Here's how to make an online collage that focuses on fashion.

Instructions

1. Use Polyvore's website (see Resources) to make collages online. Polyvore provides you with images of backgrounds, clothing and accessories to make fashion collages online. Start by choosing a background image. Resize the background image to large if you want it to take up the whole space, or use it more than once for graphic appeal. Click and drag the background image around to place it.

2. Click on the Home option to start selecting clothing and accessories for your online fashion collage. Pick the dominant elements first, including a dress, pants or jeans and a top.

3. Accessorize your main outfit by selecting a pair of shoes to go with your outfit for your online collage. Click on the pair of shoes you like to see a detailed picture. Click on Add to Set to add the shoes to the online collage.

4. Delete any fashion accessory you don't like as you make your collage. Click on the image. A black outline will appear surrounding the image. If that is the accessory you would like to delete from your online collage, click Delete on your keyboard.

5. Add more accessories to your online collage. Add bags, earrings, jewelry and any other fashion accessory you like. Continue to return to the Home menu to view all the categories and add more fashion accessories to your online collage.

6. Rearrange the fashion accessories in different ways, resizing as you go. For more impact, add a fashion accessory more than once. This will give the online collage more graphic impact.

7. Print out your image or make a screenshot to save the image to your computer. If you would like to store your online collages on the website, you will need to register.
