How to Draw Fur
Fur might seem tricky at first, but anyone can get the handle of it. The importance of fur doesn't need to be explained, since the majority of animals have fur, making it impossible to draw most animals if fur is not mastered.

Draw fur on the snout using very short, quick strokes. If you look at a dog, you will notice that he/she will have short fur on his/her muzzle. The illustration is an example of short, quick strokes.

Going in an up and out fashion, add quick, long strokes to the head and around the eyes of the animal.
