1. Design invitations using a Beatrix Potter theme. Look for invitations showcasing rabbits or stencil them on yourself. Fashion unusual invitations in the shape of carrots, using orange paper.

2. Encourage guests to dress Beatrix Potter style. Just pick up any of her books for inspirations. Flowered pinafores and floppy hats are perfect. Or, you could ask each little guest to come dressed as her favorite Beatrix Potter character.

3. Host the party outside if weather permits. If you're lucky enough to have an herb garden, that would be the perfect spot. A porch or deck is another good choice. But even if it's cold and stormy, your little bunnies are sure to have a good time.

4. Decorate with fresh flowers and pots of fresh herbs. March ceramic bunnies around your centerpiece. Make a tablecloth and matching napkins out of cotton fabric covered in rabbits. You may even be able to find Peter Rabbit fabric.
