Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Sand paper
  • Sanding block
  • Lint free cloths

  1. Step 1

Wrap 80 grit sandpaper around a wooden sanding block. Using moderate pressure, sand the surface of the wood veneer.

  2. Step 2

Wipe the wood veneer clean using a lint free cloth.

  3. Step 3

Repeat step 1 using 100 grit, 150 grit, 180 grit, 220 grit, 400 grit and 600 grit sandpaper respectfully until the surface is smooth. Be sure to wipe the veneer with your lint free each between each sanding.

  4. Step 4

Clean your wood veneer using a mild cleaner. Dilute the cleaner with water, as directed by the manufacturer.

  5. Step 5

Dampen a cloth with the diluted cleaner and wipe in the direction of the wood grain.

  6. Step 6

Wipe until dry, using a clean and lint free cloth.
