Things You'll Need:
- Braid Hair
- Comb
- Oil Sheen
- Scissors
-
Step 1
First shampoo and condition hair or perm if needed. After your hair has dried go through and lightly spray it with oil sheen. Take the braid hair out and lay it to the side so that you can get to it as you go. Depending on what type of hair you bought you might want to cut it in half. Most of the time you only cut the hair in half if there's a rubber band wrapped around it and the hair coming through it is the same length on both sides.
-
Step 2
Starting at the back of your head close to your hair line part straight across. You should part where you want the first row of braids to start. After you have the part straight clip the rest of your hair up to keep it out of the way. Now take the comb a part straight down where you want the first braid to be making a box.
-
Step 3
About this size to begin braid... The small piecesTake a small piece of braid hair about the size of your pinky finger out of the hair. Hold it in the center then grip your hair wrapping them together and begin braiding it down until your hair stops. You can either make a knot by taking the hair wrap it around making a whole then pulling the end through it or leaving it unknot. Continue doing this until entire head is complete.
