How to Do Fingernail Art Stamping

You love fingernail art, but hate the amount of time and effort it takes to draw tiny designs on nails. Luckily, there's fingernail art stamping, an easy way to add some nail art to your nails. With fingernail art stamping you literally stamp designs onto your nails. It's cheap and gives you a professional nail art look without the trouble. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a fingernail art stamp kit. Most of these kits start around $15 to $20. Read through and follow the directions enclosed in your kit to do your fingernail art stamping.

    • 2

Choose a base coat color. It can be any color you want. Paint your nails and wait until the coat of nail polish dries.

    • 3

Apply a different color of nail polish to your disc or image plate or straight to the stamper. Your kit will probably come with colors you can choose from or you can purchase separate colors. Scrape excess paint off if using a disc and press the stamper firmly onto the disc, making sure you've transferred the entire design.

    • 4

Press the stamper onto your nails, transferring the design to your nails.

    • 5

Put a clear coat of nail polish to help the design set. Make sure you use the recommended clear coat of nail polish that comes with your kit to prevent your design from smearing.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use these kits to stamp other items in your house such as lunchboxes, watches, jewelry and other things.
