Step 1
Wear a bootcut or skinny jeans since the material is more sleek and straighter This allows you to easily fit the pants into the boots without the denim looking bunchy. Also dark demin jeans will go with any color of boots you are wearing: brown, black, tan or white.

Step 2
Tuck in the jeans with knee-high socks then place the boots over it to cover the area. If you want, you can buy jeans especially made for boots with knee-high socks already attached to it. This idea came from fashion designer, Marc Bouwer and the jeans are available at his website, www.thirteendenim.com.

Step 3
Another way to place your boots over jeans is rolling the bottom of the jeans for a more fitted look. Spice it up the by wearing a fitted tunic shirt that matches the color of the boots or wear a short-sleeved jacket to complete the look.

on 1/29/2009 I just discovered Jean Straps removable stirrups too!(www.jeanstraps.com) They really make pulling my boots on over my jeans keep them securely pulled down all day long. I used to pull my knee socks over my jeans and it would get really uncomfortable.

on 1/24/2009 I had to tell you about another new nifty product that I just discovered...Jean Straps (www.jeanstraps.com). They too have found a solution for pulling your boots over your jeans while eliminating bunching. Instead of clips, theirs are applied with Velcro (which I like b/c you can't tell it's there at all). They are super cute and cheap. Just thought I would share...
