  1. How to Make a Smoothie

    • 1

Plug in blender or smoothie blender. Before you can make a smoothie, make sure your blender or smoothie blender is plugged in and ready for use.

    • 2

Take fruit out of the freezer. With fruit taken out of freezer, open bag of fruit, take a piece of fruit out and rinse under cool water.

    • 3

Open yogurt or whey protein container. If using yogurt, pour whole container into blender. If using whey protein, fill the supplied cup to the rim and pour into blender.

    • 4

Prepare water. If using bottled water, open top and place a cup of water into the blender. If using some other type of water, again, pour about a cup into blender.

    • 5

Prepare ice. Now, pour a cup of ice into the blender on top of all other ingredients. Secure blender top into place.

    • 6

Turn on the blender. With all smoothie ingredients inside blender and blender top on, turn blender to low or medium speed until all ingredients are blended to a smoothie drinking consistency.

    • 7

With the smoothie mixed together in blender, remove blender top and container top. Now, pour all the blended smoothie into 20 or 30 oz container. Finally, if you want to use a straw, insert straw into drink container.

To make it much healthier and taste better, leave out the ice, water, and dairy. Fresh fruit is best, but frozen bananas (peeled and put in freezer in ziploc bag) will make it smoother and more like ice cream. Use 5-6 bananas, 6-7 strawberries, 5-7 raw almonds or cashews, 1 tbs. bee pollen, 1 TBS hemp nuts, 2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice, 1 TBS cocoa (optional- raw cacao is even better) and 1 1/2 cups fresh spinach (you won't taste this). Blend well and enjoy more taste and nutrition than most people get in a whole day!

    1. take (frozen) fruit of choice and place into blender after washing. Amount depends on personal taste. For an awesome strawberry banana smoothie I use 1 full banana and 5-7 strawberries. 2. if using unfrozen fruit, add ice or look forward to a watery smoothie. 3. add yogurt/milk/water as desired. Use yogurt for a silly thick smoothie. Water if lactose intolerant or watching your weight. 3. blend. tl;dr version: add fruit. Add milk, yogurt or water. Blend. herp derp a doo. (really, astounding how you can screw up instructions for something so simple.)
