Step 1
Decide what type of shower head you would like to have in your shower. There are shower head that are attached to the shower wall and there are also shower heads that are detachable that can be moved around.
-
Step 2
Install the shower head according to the manufacturers instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions because each shower head is different and will require different installations.
-
Step 3
Use a bucket to adjust the water pressure of the new shower head once it has been installed. Look inside the bucket and find the one gallon mark. Then place the bucket under the shower head and run the water. Fill the bucket up to the one gallon mark. If it takes more or less than twenty seconds to reach the one gallon mark, you will have to readjust the water pressure coming into the shower head from the main water valve in the house.
-
Step 4
Set the anti-scald on the new shower head if it has one. Many of the newer models will have anti-scald guard installed on them.
-
Step 5
Turn the head to the desired spray. Many shower heads today have different types of sprays that can massage the body in different ways. Some sprays are soft and light while other sprays are more powerful and direct.
