I enjoyed your article because I love weaves and wigs. I like the technique that you mentioned in your article versus leaving some of your natural hair out. I like to wear blond weaves so I have to have my whole head of hair covered.

when doing a part down the middle or on the side, what do you do with the stocking cap?

when doing a quick weave the most natural way to do it, is leave an inch of your natural hair and blend that over the track or then it might look wiggish. depending on your style, you should glue the track from side to side starting at the bottom leave enough of your natural hair out at the top so it can blend to cover the track. which means you can syle your hair in the front however you want as long as the top track is covered. Now you can style your hair however you want instead of being bound to 1 look.
