Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Computer with a printer and internet connection.
Step1
1. Find sheet music - There are a couple of sites that can help you find the sheet music you are looking for. http://www.sheetmusicplus.com and http://www.musicnotes.com. Simply type in the song title that you are looking for and it should pop up. Most popular songs can be found on one of these two sites. You can print the music from the sites and even change the key of most of the songs to make it easier for you to sing. If you can't find the sheet music, go on to step 2.
Step2
Find the lyrics- If you can't find sheet music for a piece that you want to work on, the next best thing is to find the lyrics and work with a recording (or two or three). Simply go to your favorite search engine (like Google) and type the name of the song in quotes and the word lyrics after it. Ex. "Yellow Submarine" lyrics. Then simply print out the lyrics.
Step3
Find a recording- To find a recording of your song, simply go to itunes (or another favorite site) and type the song title in quotes. Then search by title. To find a karaoke version, do the same thing then type the word karaoke after the title. This will find the karaoke versions of the song.
