How to Make Perfumed Talcum Powder

  • Cornstarch
  • Tapioca starch
  • Arrowroot powder
  • Essential oils or fragrance of your choice
  • Talcum powder containers
  • Baking soda
  • Vanilla essential oil
  • Vanilla powder

  1. Perfumed Talcum Powder

      Combine the corn starch, tapioca starch and arrowroot powder in a small bowl, and mix thoroughly.

      Add the fragrance or essential oils to a cotton ball or absorbent cotton pad.

      Put the perfumed cotton ball or cotton pad in a container with the talcum powder and stir it or shake it well.

      All the perfumed talcum powder to sit for 24 hours, and stir or shake it again.

      Remove the perfumed pad or cotton ball and discard it.

      Put the perfumed talcum powder in the containers, and use as desired. This recipe makes two cups of perfumed talcum powder.

    Perfumed Vanilla Talcum Powder

      Mix the cornstarch, baking soda and tapioca powder in a small bowl, stirring until the mixture is well blended.

      Add the vanilla essential oil to a cotton ball or absorbent cotton pad and put it in the bowl with the talcum powder. Let it sit for about 24 hours, and stir it again.

      Removed the perfumed cotton ball or pad and discard it.

      Place the perfumed vanilla talcum powder in the containers and use as desired. Recipe makes two cups.
