How to Use the Calendar Wizard in Microsoft Word

Creating your own calendars instead of using expensive store-bought planners is a great way to save money. All you need is Microsoft Word, a computer printer and some paper to generate your own planner in a matter of minutes. Follow these steps to utilize the Calendar Wizard.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Computer with Microsoft Word installed
  • Computer printer
  • Printer paper

Step1
Launch Microsoft Word and open a new document.
Step2
Click the File menu and select New. Click New From Template, then General Template and finally Other Documents.
Step3
Double click Calendar Wizard. Click the Next button on the window that appears.
Step4
Choose one of the available calendar styles and select Next.
Step5
Choose your desired layout and indicate whether you want a picture in your calendar. If you do want a picture, use the Browse button to select it.
Step6
Set the starting and ending months, then click Next. Click Finish to create your custom calendar. You can then edit, save and print this calendar just like you would any Microsoft Word document.
