How to repair a vinyl window

1. First open the window lock and lower the top window to expose the sping that sits against the frame. there is a philips screw that holds this in

2. Remove the screw and the spring. You will want to look on the window to see who manufactures the window. The name is usually on the glass in the bottom corner or somewhere on the frame. Once you find the manufacture bring the sping into the place of purchase to match up the length

3. Now tilt the window toward you and install onto the window first, then push the window back into place and attach the spring .
