Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:

- prints of your work
Step1
When dealing with Artwork, it is important to have the perfect presentation and that would be found in your portfolio.... The first things you drastically need for your portfolio is some finished pieces of artwork... Make sure your work is in it's finished stage and is able to be viewed....
Step2
Now that you are all prepared and ready to be seen, it is time to photograph your work. I am going to tell you how in an old-fashioned way as an example however a digital camera may offer the same services...but I used a special film, Seattle Filmworks, that offered both slides and prints from the same roll of film. I would have both of the kinds made up for my portfolio...
Step3
Proper lighting. It is important to have proper lighting when comes to photographing your artwork... I chose the first surefire bet to lighting, but sunlight... Sunlight is the all natural approach to film where a studio with proper room lighting may have the same effect.
Step4
Label your artwork. With a sticker seal either write or type up the title of your piece, but the mediums it was created with and the year. Galleries sometimes require this information...
Step5
Make sure your portfolio is portable. When adding your portfolio sleeves or box of prints to your main body of work or your main portfolio, make sure this complete case is put together in a sturdy bag with an armstrap to carry it all around~
