Do the cannonball down on the floor and impress your friends with your cool break dancing moves. Break dancing is performed to hip hop music with a snap and twisting movement. Done right, break dancing moves will contort your body to its fullest capability. Break dancers use basic routines from regular life and incorporate them into jammin' new moves. The cannonball takes its cue from the swimming pool.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Crouch down on the floor. Just like its name, you are going to get into a tucked position as though you are doing a cannonball jump into the water. You'll keep in this crouched posture throughout the move while your feet and hands do the work of turning you.

  2. Step 2

Reach out your leading hand. Follow with the foot on the same side to step out just a little bit to begin your turn. Cross the hand in front of you and place it on the floor beside the foot that has moved.

  3. Step 3

Keep turning while you repeat the reaching out motion with your other hand and foot. As you spin on the left foot, the right foot will be reaching out, plant it on the floor, spin on that foot while the left foot is reaching and so on and so on. You are basically turning like a crunched up ballerina's pirouette close to the floor.

Tips & Warnings
  • This move has also been called the hurricane because of the tight revolving motion.
