How to Have a Good Valentine's Day

Most people dread this day, Valentine's day... but even if you are single it does not have to be a total bust.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    If you like someone
Admit it! BUT don't go overboard it is incredibly overly awkward if you give a person a ton of stuff and they don't have the same feelings for you.

  2. Step 2

    If you are dating someone
Plan ahead...do something unique...a generic card and candy isn't the way to everyone's heart, it's actually just imitation love.

  3. Step 3

    If you like no one.
Stay in good spirits...I always dress up a little in heart or pink or red attire...this year I even had heart earrings on.
Try to surround yourself with friends or at least have a good time by yourself... if you decide ahead of time you are going to mope there will be no chance for fun, but if you try to liven up the day you may forget it's "singles awareness day" and realize it's just like every other day.

  4. Step 4

Try not to break any hearts. Let people down gently if you can...and avoiding them helps too, if they can't ask you...you don't have to turn them down.... kind of evil, but a great plan...

on 11/23/2008 Valentines Day became my least favorite holiday (not really a holiday) because of an incident that occured about 4 years ago. Therefore, at the present time, I am not a big fan of V-day.. but when I am in a relationship again I'm sure that will change .. nice article.
