Step 1
Find a Valentine. Having a secret love interest to send a Valentine to is the most important thing to have when you want to send a secret Valentine. This should be someone with whom you have a connection. You should know them and they should know you, otherwise it could be a little creepy.
-
Step 2
Buy a Valentine card. Starting in January, stores start to carry a wide variety of cards to pick from for your special someone. You are sure to find something that states pretty close to the sentiment you want to confer. If you don’t find exactly what you are looking for, most stores carry an assortment of preprinted cards that are blank on the inside, so you can write in your own message.
-
Step 3
Make a Valentine card. If you don’t want to purchase a mass produced card, you can make your own. Traditionally, hearts, flowers, and Cupids are symbols used in making Valentine’s cards. You can use anything you want in the making of these special treats. Construction paper, lace, glitter, markers--just use your imagination.
-
Step 4
Deliver the card. The whole point of sending a secret Valentine is for it to be a secret. You can leave your card in your paramour’s mailbox, on their desk at work, or in their locker at school, as long as you leave it in a place where you know they will get it. You may also want to have a friend deliver it for you. It all depends on how easy you want it to be for them to guess whom the card is from.
-
Step 5
Wait to see if your secret Valentine knows the card is from you. There are many small ways you could give hints as to who sent the card. If you are lucky, your secret sweetheart will know that you were the sender of their Valentine. If you are really lucky, your feelings will be reciprocated, and this Valentine’s Day will mark the beginning of a long and happy relationship.
