    Instructions

    Things You'll Need

    • (2) 4 foot x 8 foot sheets of 3/4 inch plywood
    • (10) 8 foot long 2x4s
    • Tape Measure
    • Circular Saw
    • Jigsaw
    • Sander
    • Pencil
    • Drill
    • Wood screws
      • 1

        Make these cuts:
        3/4 inch plywood:
        2 pieces @ 30 inches x 48 inches
        1 piece @ 24 inches x 45 inches
        2 pieces @ 24 inches x 27 3/4 inches
        2x4s:
6 pieces @ 45 inches (fronts and backs)
        4 pieces @ 76 inches (legs)
        6 pieces @ 23 inches (sides)

      • 2

        Sand all surfaces.

Build the frame (2x4s). Attach (2) 45 inch pieces and (2) 23 inch pieces to the bottoms of the (4) 76 inch pieces so that you have a base that's 30 inches x 48 inches and stands 76 inches in the corners. The sides, fronts and backs should stand 3 1/2 inches high NOT 1 1/2 inches high. Measure up 24 inches from the bottom (21 1/2 inches from the top of the sides, fronts and backs) and attach another set of sides, fronts and backs. Make sure all sides are level. Repeat once more with the final set flush with the top of the 76 inch pieces.

Attach the plywood. Attach one 30 inch x 48 inch piece of plywood to the top of the stand. Notch the other with the jigsaw to fit in between the legs and sit on top of the middle 2x4s. Attach the 24 inch x 45 inch piece to the inside of the front 2x4s. Attach the 24 inch x 27 3/4 inch pieces to the inside of either side.

Trace large letters (approximately 12 inches high x 4 1/2 inches wide) onto the remaining plywood. Spell out LEMONADE. Cut out with the jigsaw.

      • 6

Paint. Paint the stand white or yellow (or a combination of bright colors) and the letters an eye catching color.

      • 7

Attach the letters to the top of the stand.

    Tips & Warnings

    • If you really want to go all out, add wheels for transportation and rope lights for extra bling.
