Instructions

-
1
Find some decorative paper or card stock that matches your decor or theme. You can use something you already have lying around from a scrapbook project, or buy something at the craft store for a few cents.
-
2
Find some ribbon you like and that coordinates with your paper.
-
-
3
Cut paper into strips about 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide and about 4 to 4 1/2 inches long.
-
4
Curl the ends of the paper around so they overlap about a quarter-inch. Make two holes with a hole punch.
-
5
Cut pieces of ribbon about 3 inches long. Cut at an angle for a decorative edge. This will also make it easier to thread through holes.
-
6
Thread the ribbon through the holes, and you are done. You don't need to tie it, but if you would like to tie a bow, cut the ribbon longer, by at least 6 inches. You can always trim it if needed.
-
7
Put the napkin through the ring holder and place it on a plate.
