How to Create a Work of Censored Art

There are always factions of society that think creative freedoms can go too far. Those with delicate sensibilities and belief systems continually try to censor art in the name of religion, societal norms or for the sake of the children. Defy those who would trample your freedom of speech with an art piece sure to offend almost anyone. Read on to learn more.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Paper
• Black marker
• A Bible
• A Koran
• Plastic baby doll
• Tongue depressor
• Feces
• Urine
• Coffee table
• Plastic sealant (aerosol)

1. Write the words "Abort Me" in marker on a strip of paper. Glue paper to tongue depressor in the form of a protest sign. Glue sign to doll's hand.

2. Place Bible and Koran face up on tabletop side by side.

3. Set doll on top of books.

4. Slather entire display in feces and urine.

5. Let dry.

6. Spray entire piece with plastic sealant.

7. Title the piece "Truth #3" or anything pretentious and/or provocative.

• Use a pseudonym for artistic credit.
