You will never be mad again about waisting money on make-up. I will tell you a fun way to use up any of that old make-up or that shade of pink that looked so perfect in the store. Plus if you have little girls they love getting into this project with you.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lipstick
  • Blush
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara
  • Any Make-Up
  • Any Hairspray
  • Your choice of canvas
  1. Step 1

Place newspaper over a solid surface and it is a good idea to wear some kind of protection for your hands. Pick your canvas of choice, I prefer using something thick and that has some type of texture to it. Gather any old sponges you have laying around and cut them into different shapes and they are also nice to use for blending. Pick out a frame that fits to the size canvas you have and set aside.

  2. Step 2

Gather any old make-up you have or any of those lovely colors that you keep just in case they somehow will magically look right some day. Place the colors you have in groups that are similar to each other. Set the lipsticks, foundation or anything that has a sticky or liquid base in a group.

  3. Step 3

Take your foundation and spread around your canvas, spreading thin. Don't leave any big sloppy areas. Let this dry for a few minutes, then take your lipstick and begin creating your work of art. You can use what ever your heart desires and begin creating your master piece.
Once you have finished your design let it stand for about ten minutes and then spray with at least two layers of hair spray. Do not leave in one spot for a long time do swift short strokes. Then let dry and place in your frame and display.

Tips & Warnings
  • Using liter shade of lipstick are nice for blending colors.
  • When choosing the hair spray, I have used glitter spray before to give it an extra touch.
  • If you have children helping you, please do not let them do the hair spray part to finish up the project.
  • Also make sure they don't put any of the make up near their mouth or face unless you are supervising. It could be dangerous to their face or eyes.
