Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to iTunes, and open up the song you wish to use for your new ringtone. Choose any song you like--it's your phone after all.

  2. Step 2

Click on "Edit", then "Preferences", then "Advanced", then "Importing". Chose "MP3 encoder", and change the settings to "Custom".

  3. Step 3

Choose 80 to 128 kbps, and click "OK".

  4. Step 4

Right click on the song you've chosen and then click "Convert selection to MP3". Right click on the new version of the song, then click on "Get Info".

  5. Step 5

Hit "Options" and adjust how the song plays. You want the song to be about 30 seconds long or less.

  6. Step 6

Convert the shortened version of the song to a MP3 version. Save this copy to the ringtones file.

  7. Step 7

Use PC Studio to transfer the file from your computer to your cell phone. You can also Bluetooth or a USB cable.

  8. Step 8

Buy Data Suite for Samsung Sync A707 if you prefer to use other software to create ringtones for your Samsung Sync.
