How to make fog/smoke with dry ice for Halloween

Ever wanted spooky fog for your Halloween Party? In this article I'll guide you step by step on how to make fog or smoke using dry ice.

Things You'll Need:

• Dry ice
• Container
• Water

   The first thing you need is the dry ice. Look in the phone book under ice suppliers. There should be several places that carry it. Sometimes shops such as Baskin Robbins carry small quantities for sale.

   Next find a container that will suit your purpose. If its a Halloween party you might want to use a large plastic cauldron. You can you almost anything as long as you realize it will get pretty cold. A cool trick if you want the fog/smoke to shoot in a direction. Take a shop-vac and use it as your container and have it blow from the hose.

   Now that you have your container, fill it with enough water to cover the dry ice. The warmer the water the more smoke/fog you'll get. But the quicker the dry ice will melt.
