Everyone needs a jumping frog for their desktop, to play with while checking email and the like. This one is so easy to make, and fun as well.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • index card
  • markers or crayons (optional)
  • 2 googly eyes (optional)
  1. Step 1

Color one side of the index card. This is optional; you can just leave it white.

  2. Step 2

Fold right top corner down to the left, matching edges.

  3. Step 3

Unfold right corner and repeat step 2 for left top corner. You have made an “x” in creases.

  4. Step 4

Unfold left corner and fold top half of the x backwards.

  5. Step 5

Take the two ends of the horizontal crease and bring them together underneath the top half of the "x".

  6. Step 6

Fold the right side of the card, not including the diamond part, in to meet the center of the card.

  7. Step 7

Do the same with the left side.

  8. Step 8

Fold the right triangle corner piece up to meet the top point.

  9. Step 9

Do the same with the left triangle corner piece.

  10. Step 10

Fold the bottom edge of the card all the way up to the top point and crease.

  11. Step 11

Fold what is now the top layer of the top edge back down to meet the bottom edge crease.

  12. Step 12

Flip over and add googly eyes if you wish.

  13. Step 13

Make it hop by pushing on the back of it.
