Things You'll Need:
- one piece 8 1/2 by 11 paper
- flat surface

Step 1
Written noteWrite note on letter-size piece of paper.

Step 2
Top right corner comes down to the leftFold right top corner down to the left, matching edges.

Step 3
Top left corner comes down to the rightUnfold right corner and repeat step 2 for left top corner. You have made an “x” in creases.

Step 4
Top is folded backUnfold left corner and fold top half of the x backwards. Unfold again, then push back the center point of the x.

Step 5
The top should be at a pointTake the two ends of the horizontal crease and bring them together underneath the top half of the "x".

Step 6
The bottom of the paper meets the bottom of the xFold up the bottom of the paper so that it hits the bottom of the x.

Step 7
Both sides fold up evenlyFold up the two bottom points of the triangle to meet the top point of the triangle.

Step 8
Bring the two sides of the bottom in to meet each other.

Step 9
Flip over and fold down the top point halfway.

Step 10
Fold up and tuck in the two bottom corners.

Step 11
Fold down and tuck in the top two corners.

on 9/30/2009 One thing- on step 4, you need to specify - you after you fold the top half backwards and crease it, then you need to UNFOLD it and flip the paper over. THEN you can push it inward to make the point. I was able to figure it out thanks to the pictures, but that part was really confusing.

on 9/29/2009 This is such a cute project, and easy enough once you get it. I just tried one and it worked out well! Now I want to make them for my boyfriend whenever I leave him a note. Thanks for a great article! Step #5 was confusing though, it would help if you clarified the instructions. Like heatherinks said, it really helps that your able to enlarge the pictures.
