The Bournemouth Fire Festival is exactly what it states--a celebration of fire with such acts as fire juggling, eating, blowing, human Catherine wheels and even artwork. But there is music as well and the organisers promise old style rock and roll with a new twist.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check the Fire Festival website (link below).

  2. Step 2

Rejoice. The festival is free so you just have to turn up.

  3. Step 3

The festival site is in Meyrick Park in the centre of town. Probably the easiest way to travel is by train, the nearest station being Bournemouth railway station. If you drive there is plenty of space for cars in the centre, though you will have to pay for parking.

  4. Step 4

Take a ferry. The port of Poole is only 30 minutes away from Bournemouth.

  5. Step 5

Take part in workshops and learn circus, advanced poi and staff and hula hoop skills. Great for kids and adults alike. To make enquiries email info@thefirefestival.co.uk
