Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Floral Tape
- Floral Wire
- Dollar Bills
- Silk Leaves
Step1
Fold paper money in half both ways to make creases, choose any denomination. Unfold your bill and curl up each of the four edges of the bill. Make roses facing bills up or down.
Step2
Use a piece of floral wire about 24 inches long. Center the wire under the bill. Wrap the wire up around the bill, scrunching the edges of the bill in until you can twist the two sections of the wire together with the bill crunched up in the middle. This is the start of your rose.
Step3
Fold the bills edges in to resemble a cup. Repeat this process two more times for each rose. Put each cup inside the previous bill, until you have three bills stacked together with six long wires hanging down. Form the rose by folding the cup sections to resemble rose petals.
Step4
Twist the six wires together tightly to form one long wire bundle. Wrap floral tape around the bundle to make the stem. Use silk leaves and secure them to the stems with the floral tape.
Step5
Repeat the first four steps for each rose in your bouquet.
