It can be difficult to store fitted sheets into closets without having them bunch. Follow these few simple tips and you can have sheets that are beautifully folded and a snap to store.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Place each hand under two corners of the sheet.

  2. Step 2

Bring your hands together in front of you, touching hands. Slip the left-handed corner over the right hand.

  3. Step 3

Pick up the third corner with your left hand. Transfer the corner over the right hand. You now have three corners on your right hand.

  4. Step 4

Pick up the final corner and transfer it over the right hand. You now have all four corners over the right hand.

  5. Step 5

Lay the sheet on a table with the elastic folds on top. Fold the sides connected to the elastic on top of the sheet, shaping the sheet into a rectangle.

  6. Step 6

Fold the sheet in half and then half again. This should leave you with a long rectangle.

  7. Step 7

Continue to fold the sheet until it is small enough to fit into your closet.

Tips & Warnings
  • Fold your sheets immediately after removing them from the dryer. This makes for easier folding and crisp-looking sheets.
