How to make playdough

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• 7 drops food coloring (more or less depending on deepness of color desired)
• 5 cups flour
• 2 cups salt
• 2 cups warm water
• paint

1. Mix dry ingredients together and set aside

2. Place drops of food coloring in water and slowly add colored water to dry mixture until dough forms a ball.

3. Knead dough on floured surface until its easy to handle.

4. You can shape, mold and bake your playdough. After baking your creation, you can paint it after it has cooled.

Tips & Warnings

• Try using different colors.
• This is a fun, easy and low cost way to keep the kids busy for hours.
• Try placing your play dough into a preformed pan such a teddy bear pan. Then bake and cool. When complete the kids can paint the bear, glue googly eyes, and add decorations.
