on 7/28/2009 When I was five we did a craft using baby food jars, I am 52 now and have never forgotten it. turn the lid upside down, roll a clay (modeling clay) small ball about 3/4", smush it onto the center of the inside of lid so it sticks. cut off the stem of silk flower just 1-1/2" to 2" below the flower. Stick stem down into clay ball. Screw the glass "globe" over the flower, you have a lovely decoration for mom to set beside her kitchen sink or on her desk at work!
