How to Add Engadget's RSS Feed to Rainmeter

Rainmeter is a desktop customization tool. It includes a transparent widget on the right side of your desktop that monitors your CPU and Internet bandwidth usage. It also includes a configurable RSS feed that lets you see the latest stories from your favorite website. Engadget is a technology blog that reviews new products and publishes the latest news from the tech field.

      Visit the Engadget website. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Subscribe." This opens the RSS feed.

      Highlight and copy the RSS feed address with your mouse.

      Right click on the Rainmeter desktop interface. Click on "illustro/System." This opens the Rainmeter folder.

      Click on "illustro," then click on "Feeds."

      Click on "Feed.ini." Navigate to the "Variables" section, then move down to "FeedURL."

      Replace the default URL with Engadget's RSS feed URL. Click on "File" then "Save" to save the changes.

      Right click on the Rainmeter interface and click "Refresh." The new Engadget RSS feed will be displayed.
