Create a coin toss game for your carnival theme party.

One carnival game that is easy to make and fun to play is the coin toss game. To play, people stand behind a line and throw a specified number of coins at the game board. If a player gets a coin completely inside a dot, he gets a specified number of points, according to the size of the circle he got the coin in. At the end of the game, players win a prize based on how many points they have accumulated.

Step 2

Draw circles of 2 inches, 3 inches, 4 inches and 5 inches in diameter with a pencil all over the paper. Assign a point value to each size of circle. The smaller circles will be worth more points, since it will be more difficult to get the coin to land in them.

Step 3

Paint the circles with different colors of paint to make it bright. Allow the paint to dry before proceeding.

Step 4

Lay the paper over a table. If the party is outdoors and it is windy, you may want to tape the edges of the bottom of the table.

Step 5

Lay out a string in a straight line or otherwise mark the area about 5 feet away from the table. This is the point behind which people will stand to throw the coins. You can adjust the distance if the game appears too easy or too hard for the players.
